OUR WINE PICKS - The wines are recommendations, feel free to collect them from the wine shop or leave us a note on your order for us to deliver them to you!
Woodchester Valley — Culver Hill - £19
A fresh, dry English white from just down the road in the Cotswolds. Crisp, aromatic and beautifully suited to the trout, labneh and lighter starters. Culver Hill is Woodchester Valley’s estate blend.
Woodchester Valley — Sparkling brut - £37
For the all-important New Year’s Eve toast. A local English sparkling wine to open with dinner and keep for midnight.
Bedoba White — Georgia - £19
A textured, aromatic white with plenty of character. A great choice if you want something a little more unusual, particularly alongside the richer starters and Saint-Marcellin.
Château La Croix Romane — Lalande-de-Pomerol - £26
A classic Bordeaux-style red for the main course, particularly with the slow-cooked Hereford short rib, mushrooms and rich Grand Veneur sauce.
Bonterra Organic Merlot 2022 — £18
Soft, generous and full of blackcurrant, cherry and plum, with a little vanilla and spice from oak. An easy match for the short rib and a very approachable bottle for sharing.
Moscatel Finca of antigua - 375ml - £16
Something sweet to finish. Floral, rich and aromatic, and made for the chestnut, chocolate, mulled-wine caramel and saffron-poached pear.
18+ only. ID may be requested on delivery.
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when ordering, so we can advise you appropriately.
